Jacky Lorenzetti is the President of Racing 92, one of France’s premier rugby clubs, which rebranded from Racing Metro in 2015. He is equally passionate about both wine and sport, particularly rugby, and has successfully blended these interests through his leadership in the sport and ownership of several esteemed Bordeaux wine estates. His deep commitment to rugby and viticulture reflects a unique synergy of tradition, competition, and camaraderie.

Vineyard
Jacky Lorenzetti has long held a deep appreciation for the exceptional wines of the Médoc region. In 2008, he and his wife Françoise made their first acquisition with Château Lilian Ladouys, a stunning 46-hectare estate that quickly captured their hearts. Following this, Jacky expanded his portfolio with the purchase of Château Pédesclaux in 2009. In 2013, he joined forces with Emmanuel Cruse to acquire a 50% stake in Château d’Issan, the prestigious 1855 Margaux Grand Cru.
Château Lilian Ladouys – Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel – Saint-Estèphe:
Acquired in 2008, Lilian Ladouys immediately impressed with its rich, crisp structure, ripe tannins, and refined oak that blend seamlessly into a vibrant explosion of fruit. The wine embodies the opulence and length characteristic of fine Saint-Estèphe, with the limestone-clay subsoils lending a remarkable freshness that balances its power. Its recent elevation to Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel status has firmly established Lilian Ladouys as a beloved choice among wine enthusiasts across Europe.
Château d’Issan – Grand Cru Classé en 1855 – Margaux:
Nestled in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Château d’Issan is renowned for its stunning architecture and abundant vineyards. The estate’s unique terroir, with surface gravel over clay subsoil, fosters optimal ripeness and freshness in its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines. The wines are celebrated for their supple elegance, subtlety, and exquisite bouquet—hallmarks of Margaux—alongside impressive aging potential.
Château Pédesclaux – Pauillac:
Located in one of Pauillac’s most picturesque terroirs, Château Pédesclaux embodies the complexity and power typical of the region. Its diverse soils, rich in clay, contribute to wines that combine boldness with refined elegance. Under the expert management of Emmanuel Cruse—whose family has been deeply rooted in Médoc’s wine trade since the 18th century—Pédesclaux continues to earn acclaim for its distinguished character.
Château Lafon-Rochet – Grand Cru Classé en 1855 – Saint-Estèphe:
Neighboring Lilian Ladouys, Lafon-Rochet is celebrated as one of Saint-Estèphe’s finest terroirs. Its vineyards lie predominantly around the château, close to other legendary estates such as Cos d’Estournel, Cos Labory, and just across the stream in Pauillac, Lafite-Rothschild. The estate consistently produces wines of notable quality and distinction.
