Chunky, Bold, Forrest

Blend: Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%

Tasting Notes: A silky, full-medium bodied wine. Developing a softer texture over time, flavours of tobacco and ripe red fruits dominate.

Food Pairing: Grilled or roast lamb. Intense garlicky dishes match perfectly.

Plump, Juicy, Tannic

Blend: Merlot 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%

Tasting Notes: Moulin d’Issan 2019 shows an expressive and crunchy red fruit character with a deep colour. The finish is very well-balanced, ended with fine tannins.

Food Pairing: Hot game pies and hearty stews. This is great with mashed potatoes, gratin dauphinoise, mushrooms and truffles.

Tasting Notes: The aroma of wine is revealed expressive notes of ripe cherries and cassis, hints of Oriental spices, light notes of tobacco and cedar nuances.

Food Pairing: The wine is the perfect accompaniment for dishes of red and white meat, game, poultry and cheeses and even desserts

Almonds, Cedar, Smoke

Blend: Merlot 62%, Cabernet Sauvignon 32%, Petit Verdot 6%

Tasting Notes: This Lilian Ladouys 2016 has a beautiful and intense purple colour. The bouquet is very open, dominated by the Merlots, and exhibits notes of small red fruits and orange peels. After aeration, the wine is on the rise and reveals flavours of cedar and gunflint aromas. The palate is expressive, it has a lovely attack extended by a chewy structure. The finish has some powdered tannins with a lot of moka and toasted almonds flavours.

Food Pairing: Get out the charcuterie. Simple grilled meats and goat and sheep cheeses.

Nutmeg, Chocolate and Blackcurrant

Blend: Merlot 48%, Cabernet Sauvignon 47%, Petit Verdot 3%, Cabernet Franc 2%

Tasting Notes: Deep and intense black color. The nose exhibits smoked notes, blackcurrant, chocolate and nutmeg. After aeration, it shows an impressive intensity and reveals notes of Morello cherry and blueberry. The attack is dense and expressive. The palate is full-bodied, very harmonious with ripe soft tannins accompanied by a complex fruit, milky toffee, toasted cocoa.

Food Pairing: Steak, and rich dishes. Enjoy with beef bourguignon and lot's of gravy!

Blend: Merlot 57%, Cabernet Sauvignon 43%

Tasting Notes: This merlot-based blend, is showing some freshness as well as smoothness with a straight and pure taste of ripe fruits. Its balance and structure built an intense wine with density. The final is quite suave also.
