POUILLY-FUISSÉ · 2024 · BURGUNDY · CHARDONNAY · SAUMAIZE-MICHELIN
A beautifully rich and complex expression of Pouilly-Fuissé, one of the most important appellations of southern Burgundy. Produced by highly regarded Burgundian viticulturist Roger Saumaize, this is Chardonnay with real depth and pedigree: ripe orchard and citrus fruit meets subtle tropical notes, creamy texture and finely balanced acidity, with restrained oak adding richness rather than masking the purity of the fruit. The vineyard sits in the dramatic limestone landscape around Vergisson, between the iconic Roche de Solutré and Roche de Vergisson — classic southern Burgundy terroir producing wines of both richness and mineral freshness.
A seriously impressive Pouilly-Fuissé — rich, creamy and mineral with the freshness, complexity and length of great southern Burgundy.

- Selected barrels are given an extended ageing period of approximately 20–22 months, helping build texture and complexity while retaining the wine's mineral freshness.
“This feels like a proper step up from the Mâcon-Villages. Rich, creamy and beautifully textured, but with enough acidity and minerality to keep it fresh. The fruit is gorgeous and the finish just keeps going. A really impressive Burgundy — and one I'd happily serve at a serious dinner.” - Jonathan T
