Mineral, Tropical, Dry

Tasting Notes: This Central Otago Sauvignon is more refined and subtle than the large volume wines we are used to from Marlborough. Still expressing that luscious and tropical taste, it has a minerality and freshness more often found in places like Sancerre. Definitively Kiwi but with a classic touch.

Food Pairing: White meats & goats cheese. Simple grilled fish and asparagus would also work.

White Peach, Jasmine, and Delicate

Tasting Notes: Elegant with lovely tension and structure. White peach and preserved lemon combine with roasted hazelnuts, jasmine, and delicate texture.

Food Pairing: This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roast chicken, fine fish like turbot, and rich mushroom-based dishes.

Steely, Citric, Petrol

Tasting Notes: This dry riesling shows refreshing lime and lemongrass aromatics combined with flavours of grapefruit, mandarin and lemon peel. A delicate and textural dry Riesling with fine acidity.

Food Pairing: Oysters with an asian twist, goats cheese, ceviche, smoked salmon.

Plump, Juicy, Tannic

Blend: Merlot 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%

Tasting Notes: Moulin d’Issan 2019 shows an expressive and crunchy red fruit character with a deep colour. The finish is very well-balanced, ended with fine tannins.

Food Pairing: Hot game pies and hearty stews. This is great with mashed potatoes, gratin dauphinoise, mushrooms and truffles.

Cherry, Blueberry, Cocoa

Blend: Merlot 67%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Petit Verdot 3%

Tasting Notes: Ethereal, fresh, appealing to both the nose and palate. Pedesclaux's second wine is a flower that unfurls as you approach. Thanks to its reliance on a high proportion of Merlot, the wine is soft and gentle, with a delicious silky texture.

Food Pairing: Try it with homemade burgers or even some Chinese crispy shredded duck pancakes.

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 40%, Cabernet Franc 10%
