JEAN ROI · JOHANN RUPERT · PROVENCE-STYLE ROSÉ
Named after Jean Roi, a French Huguenot who settled in the Cape in the late 17th century and whose original farm became L'Ormarins, Jean Roi was created from Johann Rupert's vision for a premium South African rosé inspired by the great wines of Provence. The 2024 vintage comes from Riebeeksrivier on the slopes of the Kasteelberg and blends Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Shiraz. Pale salmon in colour, it offers bright strawberry, raspberry and plum, delicate citrus, a rounded, fleshy palate and a beautifully dry finish.
A sophisticated, dry South African rosé with Provençal elegance and a genuine sporting connection through Johann Rupert.
