Doddie’5 Gin

45 West Distillers has teamed up with Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir’s charity to create a new gin – with all of the profits going directly to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, helping to fund vital research into the causes and potential cures of motor neurone disease. The pair combined the unique Burleighs Signature recipe with specially selected botanicals that pay homage to Doddie’s roots in the Scottish Borders.

I played against Doddie Weir at the back end of my rugby career and of course he is a rugby legend. I count myself lucky to be a friend.

As most will know now, a short while back Doddie announced that he was suffering from Motor Neurone disease from which there is no known cure. His Foundation has raised and committed nearly £3m so far to fund research into the causes of this awful disease.  Meantime, his inspirational fundraising knows no bounds. Doddie has a smile on his face 24/7 and we support him wholeheartedly.

Doddie, we are with you 100% and meanwhile we raise a glass of your wonderful Gin to you and your family.
