From a single block of 44-year-old Chenin Blanc vines surrounding Welbedacht's old schoolhouse, Skoolblok Steen is a beautifully expressive South African white with vibrant freshness, ripe orchard and tropical fruit, and the distinctive character of its Groenberg terroir. The old vines bring concentration and depth, while the wine retains the freshness and energy that make Chenin such a compelling Cape variety.

Appearance: Bright, pale straw with a fresh, youthful appearance.
Nose: Fresh and expressive, with green fruit and ripe tropical aromas, alongside hints of apple, melon and citrus.
Palate: Fresh and vibrant, with bold flavours of kiwi, baked green apple, quince and prickly pear, balanced by lively acidity.
Finish: Clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus, subtle herbal notes and a gentle, slightly grassy character.
