CRICKET COLLECTION · SINGLE VINEYARD · WELBEDACHT
Around the boundary of Schalk Burger's Welbedacht cricket oval, vines grow where you might least expect them. From these vines comes this elegant Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot, capturing Schalk's lifelong passion for cricket while showcasing the quality and character of his South African estate. And perhaps most importantly, it reminds us that in this legendary Springbok family, it has never been all about rugby.
A wine born around the cricket pitch, proving that in the Burger family, the sporting story goes far beyond rugby.
