Born from one of rugby's most extraordinary comeback stories, Vapoura was created by former England rugby player Ed Jackson and fellow former player Olly Barkley. In 2017, Ed suffered a devastating spinal injury that left him paralysed from the neck down. Against the odds, he fought his way back, eventually walking again and returning to a life that included climbing mountains and completing challenges that once seemed impossible. His journey of resilience, determination and reinvention ultimately led to Vapoura.

Chapter Two is the richer, more contemplative expression of that journey: a smooth English rum aged in Pedro Ximénez casks, developing layers of vanilla, caramel, raisins, tobacco and dark chocolate. Rich and velvety without becoming cloying, it is made for sipping slowly — a fitting spirit for a story about taking your time, overcoming setbacks and coming back stronger.

Appearance: Deep golden amber with rich copper tones.
Nose: Vanilla and caramel, with raisins, dark chocolate, gentle tobacco and warm oak.
Palate: Rich, smooth and velvety, with layers of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit followed by dark chocolate and subtle tobacco. The PX cask influence brings depth and sweetness while maintaining a beautifully balanced finish.
Finish: Long, warming and indulgent, with lingering chocolate, raisin, vanilla and gentle tobacco.
