Created by Springbok brothers Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis, the RugbyField Vineyard project brings their love of rugby, farming and wine together, with a rugby-field-sized vineyard complete with goalposts at its heart. Born from their collaboration with former Scotland rugby coach Richie Gray and the Ricome family of Château de Valcombe in the southern Rhône, the project celebrates the shared values of rugby and winemaking. The Classic Rosé is a beautifully fresh Grenache and Syrah blend, inspired by the great rosés of Provence, with vibrant red-fruit character, refreshing acidity and an elegant, dry finish.
