Tendai “The Beast” Mtawarira earned his nickname through a remarkable rugby career defined by power, resilience and an uncompromising presence on the field, culminating in the Springboks' historic 2019 Rugby World Cup victory. His wine collection brings that same spirit to the bottle, with this 2016 Franschhoek red being an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, selected with winemaker Gerard Holden of Holden Manz after extensive tasting. Full-bodied yet silky and polished, it combines the power of Cabernet with the richness and spice of Syrah, creating a wine that is generous, smooth and seriously refined.
