Tasting Notes: The Bacchus grape is to the UK what Sauvignon Blanc is to Marlborough. The wine has a delicate floral nose of honeysuckle, lilac and ripe orchard fruits yielding to a zesty citrus intensity on the palate and a stone fruit finish.

Food Pairing: Sample with spring vegetables like asparagus, peas and broad beans. Salads without heavy dressings, shellfish and poached or grilled salmon.

Tasting Notes: This Méthode Cap Classique is a delectably dry sparkling wine composed entirely of Chardonnay. The nose presents a lovely combination of fresh granny smith apple, yeasty dough and biscuit aromas that make way for the unfolding flavours of the palate. A fine, lively mousse glides over the tongue, leaving behind it a trail of white peach and fresh fruit notes, while a long, creamy finish rounds off the overall profile of the wine.

Food Pairing: This lively MCC will compliment an array of dishes, serve well chilled alongside seafood, fresh salads, soft cheeses and pastries.

Fitting for a 150 year old celebration this blend of Merlot, Mourvèdre and Syrah comprises two of the oldest cultivars, being Syrah and Mourvèdre. This combination of ripe black fruit flavours, peppery and spicy notes of savoury black olives coupled to the great blending qualities of the plummy and raspberry Merlot has created a wine that could be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 years. This wine was grown. made and bottled on the Welbedacht Wine Estate by Springbok rugby player

This wine is the ideal pairing for red meats, any game and venison, as well as spicy foods.

Light & Dry

Tasting Notes: This beautiful salmon pink rose is a light-bodied classic with refreshing acidity. Aromas of crushed red berries announce an ethereal green tea character on the nose and a delicious mix of strawberries and sherbet lemons on the tongue. With the acidity of a white wine & the subtle fruit characters of a red.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with any cheese. Also a delicious partner to most seafood, light salads, pasta and rice dishes.

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 40%, Cabernet Franc 10%

Tasting Notes: The aroma of wine is revealed expressive notes of ripe cherries and cassis, hints of Oriental spices, light notes of tobacco and cedar nuances.

Food Pairing: The wine is the perfect accompaniment for dishes of red and white meat, game, poultry and cheeses and even desserts

Light, Bubbly & Fresh

Tasting Notes: A light rose coloured prosecco that is both dry and well balanced. The DOC Rose has a fresh and delicate bouquet with a scent of small red fruits. Best served at 6-8 degrees.

Food Pairing: Excellent as an aperitif or paired with light and crisp salad or vegetable based dishes.
