LORD BOTHAM · ADELAIDE HILLS · PREMIUM CHARDONNAY
Created by cricket legend Sir Ian Botham in collaboration with renowned Adelaide Hills vigneron Marty Edwards of The Lane, this small-parcel Chardonnay reflects Botham's own love of rich, full-bodied white wines and his hands-on approach to winemaking. Sourced from premium vineyards high in the Adelaide Hills, the wine combines ripe white peach, grapefruit and citrus with creamy texture, subtle almond and beautifully integrated toasty French oak. Hand-harvested fruit was whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in French oak before extended maturation, creating a Chardonnay of richness, structure and elegance. Botham worked closely with Marty Edwards to develop the fuller, more textured style he enjoys, making this a wine that is genuinely personal to him — distinctive, characterful and every bit as memorable as the man behind it.
A Chardonnay made Beefy's way — rich, textured and full of character.
