Created by Springbok brothers Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis, the RugbyField Vineyard project brings their rugby heritage into the vineyard, with a unique rugby-field-shaped block at its heart. In South Africa, the brothers partnered with L’Avenir in Stellenbosch to produce a wine from one of the country's most distinctive varieties: Pinotage. The result is a refined, modern expression of the grape — medium-bodied and silky, with seductive crushed pomegranate, juicy plum and black cherry, fine-grained tannins and restrained power.
