Created by Springbok brothers Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis, the RugbyField Vineyard project brings the spirit of rugby into the vineyard, with a dedicated rugby-field-sized block and goalposts at its heart. Born from the brothers' collaboration with former Scotland rugby coach Richie Gray and the Ricome family of Château de Valcombe, the project has grown into a range of wines connecting the world of rugby with great vineyards. The Classic White offers a fresh, elegant expression with bright citrus and orchard fruit, subtle almond and spice and a beautifully clean finish — an easy-drinking wine with a genuinely exceptional sporting story.
