PEREGRINE · 96 POINTS · CAMERON DOUGLAS MS · CENTRAL OTAGO · PINOT NOIR
Peregrine's flagship Pinot Noir captures the purity, elegance and intensity of Central Otago, drawing fruit from the region's distinct Bendigo, Pisa and Gibbston sub-regions. The 2021 vintage is beautifully perfumed, combining dark cherry, boysenberry, raspberry and plum with wild thyme, spice and subtle oak. Silky yet structured, with bright acidity, firm fine-grained tannins and impressive length, it has the concentration and balance to develop beautifully in bottle. Cameron Douglas MS awarded it 96 points, calling it a wine of “focus and quality, concentration and length” with a strong foundation for ageing.
A serious Central Otago Pinot Noir with exceptional purity, structure and length — and the pedigree to reward cellaring.

Awards & Medals
96 points — Cameron Douglas MS, December 2023.
“This is exactly what I want from a great Pinot Noir — elegant and silky, but with plenty going on underneath. The dark cherry and spice are gorgeous, and there is enough structure to make you think this will get even better with age. A seriously impressive Central Otago Pinot.” - Jonny G
"A wine of focus and quality, concentration and length,” highlighting baked cherry, boysenberry, plum and dried raspberry alongside oak spice, stone-mineral character and wild thyme. He described the wine as lengthy and complex, with firm tannins and acidity providing a strong foundation for ageing."
