The wine was bottled on March 17 2025.
On the nose you will find red cherry, prunes, plums, velvet and sweet spice. Palate will show case leather, sweet tabaco, red berries and plums. A grippy, yet fine tannin structure will provide length and with a well-balanced acidity the wine shows freshness.
Blend composition – Shiraz 41% , Merlot 33% , Mourvedre 26%
A perfect wine for a relaxing evening with light red meats, or a meaty pizza and biltong.

Description
A blend based on the term House blend with the red varietals on Welbedacht Wine Estate. The focus on this red blend is to provide a fruit driven red with structure but high drinkability on the wine. The blend composition of the wine does not always stay the same, but the quality and dimensions of the will always take priority. Each varietal was processed individually in the cellar and matured in either old French oak barrels or stainless-steel tank. About 6 months before bottling the blend was meticulous combined / structured and set to marry in stainless-steel tank.
