Description
Louis Oosthuizen first ventured into the field of winemaking in 2012, lending his brand name, Louis57. The range includes a handpicked range of locally produced wines – all of which Louis personally tasted and selected. The brand name Louis57 is named after his momentous achievement on the Mossel Bay Golf Course. Here Louis scored a 57, the lowest ever score recorded on the course! Each Louis57 Wine is an outstanding combination of exceptional quality and balance.
Each Louis57 wine is outstanding in terms of balance and quality, enabling it to delight even the most selective of wine connoisseurs. Louis57 wines are produced under license by Boschkloof Wines in Stellenbosch, which is owned by master winemakers and father-son duo Jacques Borman and Reenen Borman.
The high-quality labels were hand-sketched by an artist in Cape Town, telling the story of Louis Oosthuizen’s golfing career. From playing his fantastic round of 57 at Mossel Bay GC in 2002 (becoming his “Signature” trademark), with his “Perfect Timing” swing through to his “Commemorative” Open Championship win in 2010 at St Andrews.
