Tasting Notes: Made, Matured, and Bottled in Stellenbosch, this wine has earthy, mineral-tasting notes, complimented by cherry and vanilla.

Blend: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), Merlot (41%), Cabernet Franc (12%) and Malbec (3%). A Bordeaux blend – carefully matured in new French barrels for 24 months. This premium wine is like Louis’ golf swing – smooth!

Complex, Spicy and Concentrated

Tasting Notes: A full-bodied, premium red carefully matured in 225-litre French oak barrels. Combines oriental spices, pepper, and fruit flavours, this highly concentrated wine is both complex and rich in its aftertaste.

Food Pairing: Compliments all stews and meats and really tickles the taste buds with Mexican cuisine.

Zesty, tropical with whipped cream

Tasting Notes: Citrus notes like lemon rind galore, fresh melon, sliced apples, and layers and layers that keep evolving. There is fantastic acidity, tension, and freshness that lingers and continues to build on itself in ultra-refreshing ways. 50% new and neutral French oak barrels and 50% stainless steel. Aged sur lie for 9 months.

Food Pairing: Rich chicken and fish dishes with creamy sauces.

Deep, Bold & Structured

Blend: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon 9% Merlot 7% Malbec 6% Petit Verdot

Tasting Notes: During a challenging year like 2020, it was purely a pleasure to focus on farming and winemaking - an escape from the chaos of the world. Generally we had a nice, slightly warmer year than average and our vineyards flourished. Bloom was on time but we did have smaller than normal fruit set and that showed in the cellar as our yields were smaller and less wine was made compared to the previous vintage. We had a beautiful harvest with threats of wildfires on the West Coast that we prepared for and researched extensively. Despite the threat, the vintage was absolutely stunning and the resulting wines some of the best we have ever made. Intense color, bright aromatics, and beautiful tannings. We began harvest on September 22nd with Malbec from our Bob Healy Estate, and finished on October 22nd with Cabernet Sauvignon from McQueen.

Rich, Ripe & Silky

Blend: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec

Tasting Notes: this vintage was a true testament to the strength of their estate sites. On October 9^th a fall frost event wiped out most of Eastern Washington, yet the estate blocks that were still on the vine were in absolutely perfect condition. Deep ruby in color with sexy aromatics. Sandalwood, fresh cherry, undertones of vanilla and pencil shavings are framed by plum and underlying hints of tobacco. The wine is elegant with fine grained tannins but does not sacrifice on full bodied richness – absolutely drinking well now but will age through 2041.

Food Pairing: Pair with red meats and all types of cheese. Or sample this great wine on its own and just appreciate drinking one of the best quality red wines coming out of the whole of the West Coast.
