The Gimme mixed case of 6 contains wines and spirits from the Louis 57 brand, by winemaker Louis Oosthuizen.

Professional golf player, Louis Oosthuizen first ventured into the field of winemaking in 2012. Lending his brand name, Louis57, to a handpicked range of locally produced wines. All of which were personally tasted and selected by Louis! We are delighted to be stockists of the award-winning wines!

The Louis57 brand is named after Louis’ momentous achievement on the Mossel Bay Golf Course when Louis scored a 57. This was the lowest ever score recorded on the course! Each Louis57 Wine is an outstanding combination of exceptional quality and balance.

Owned by master winemakers and father-son duo Jacques Borman and Reenen, all Louis57 wines are produced under license by Boschkloof Wines in Stellenbosch.

The 25-hectare estate, Boschkloof, is situated 8km West of Stellenbosch in one of South Africa’s prime red wine-producing regions. The boutique wine estate yields some of the best quality grapes in the region and in South Africa. With 29 accolades to date, Louis57 Wines offer an outstanding combination of character, nose, and aging potential.

Jacques Borman was the winemaker at the world-famous La Motte Wine Estate in Franschhoek for 25 years. After which he developed the Rupert & Rothschild international wine label. Today, Jacques and his son Reenen create world-class wines on their private estate. It is widely recognized that they are making some of the most exciting wines in South Africa at the moment. Reenen’s vision, personal involvement with the soil, and hands-on approach to viticulture produce timeless wines. These wines have achieved award winning status in many categories since the range entered the market.

…What better way to celebrate Louis Oostuizen playing golf in 2022 than with a mixed case of the Louis 57 Gimme case.
