A collaboration between former NFL quarterback Drew Bledsoe and winemaker Josh McDaniels, Bledsoe|McDaniels was born from their shared passion for the Willamette Valley and its exceptional Pinot Noir. The 2018 inaugural vintage draws fruit from the Ribbon Ridge AVA, including Ridgecrest and Wind Ridge vineyards, and was made from 100% Pinot Noir, with 17 months in French oak and 50% whole-cluster fermentation. Elegant yet quietly powerful, it opens with black tea, cranberry and forest-floor notes, followed by natural acidity, rich fruit and beautifully balanced tannins, while the long finish gives the wine real staying power.
