Tasting Notes: Moulin d’Issan 2019 shows an expressive and crunchy red fruit character with a deep colour. The finish is very well-balanced, ended with fine tannins.

Food Pairing: Hot game pies and hearty stews. This is great with mashed potatoes, gratin dauphinoise, mushrooms and truffles.

Fitting for a 150 year old celebration this blend of Merlot, Mourvèdre and Syrah comprises two of the oldest cultivars, being Syrah and Mourvèdre. This combination of ripe black fruit flavours, peppery and spicy notes of savoury black olives coupled to the great blending qualities of the plummy and raspberry Merlot has created a wine that could be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 years. This wine was grown. made and bottled on the Welbedacht Wine Estate by Springbok rugby player

This wine is the ideal pairing for red meats, any game and venison, as well as spicy foods.

The Wine: A young fresh wine that exhibits rose petals and zingy red fruit flavours that really light up the senses and resembles the Estate’s unique terroir.

Creamy and Subtly Oaked

Tasting Notes: A reliably rich and complex southern Burgundy white from a highly regarded Mâconnais producer. Pouilly-Fuissé is the most important appellation in Mâconnais area of southern Burgundy and ay Saumaize-Michelin they make some of the best examples of it. Following in the same vein as the two previous years 2018 produced rich and ripe whites across Burgundy and this delicious example shows that in spades. There's plenty of ripe fruit on the nose which mingles with citrus and a hint of tropical flavours. The deliciously creamy texture and well balanced acidity lead up to a gloriously lingering finish which stays long on the tongue.

Tasting Notes: This beautiful salmon pink rose is a light-bodied classic with refreshing acidity. Aromas of crushed red berries announce an ethereal green tea character on the nose and a delicious mix of strawberries and sherbet lemons on the tongue. With the acidity of a white wine & the subtle fruit characters of a red.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with any cheese. Also a delicious partner to most seafood, light salads, pasta and rice dishes.
