I was driving back in my trusty, big but cumbersome Ford F250 that suits my big frame that was used to bumping people around. Mind you ask Chris Butcher the ex England player about that, and it also cocoons me against the lunacy of some of todays’ drivers.
A Saracens Double
When two of the top three teams in the Premiership meet in the City’s Capital, its going to be tasty and so it was last weekend at the London Olympic Stadium. Saracens the Champions took on the fast improving Harlequins for Arnold Hills – Heroes and it was an intense, quality occasion.

The return of the great Conor Murray to action for Munster’s European victory over Castres coincided with the debut appearance of Schalk Burger’s wines at Thomond Park through the auspices of Sporting Wine Club.
I Was There!
It is not often you can say ‘I was there’ when talking about English sport – Rugby World Cup 2003, Sir Nick Faldo’s Major wins, Mo Farah’s Olympic Gold Medals…… there are more but not many . We think of Botham’s 1981 Ashes heroics, or the final day at Kia Oval when the Ashes were won some eight years ago, and you can now add the moment when Alistair Cook scored his final century on his final day in Test cricket having opened his account the same way all those years ago.
